I just ordered Thorne(again!) and Cape Wrath. Cape Wrath is selling really cheap at Amazon Illyria! If you're interested, get it from Rarewaves. Some of the other sellers don't ship to Australia.

In the last week i have bought; Love/Hate Dice Identity Shanghai Knights Wake Wood Blackout Freefall Which is digustingly obsessive because they all star...Aidan Gillen I've made myself bankrupt for the month - beans on toast for tea every night. But he brings me so much joy *le sigh* marianne...i bought my Cape Wrath DVD not so long back and was surprised at how cheaply you can pick it up for! I think i paid something like £2.50 or something!

Yesterday i bought the 'Misfits' boxset (with the quite, quite gorgeous Robert Sheehan) and the 'The Street' boxset (because Dan Ryan enticed me into buying it via Twitter by promising me man pain and fighting between him and Shaun Dooley - i am so easily swayed )

Today i bought the Red Riding DVDs (i couldn't bear not having them in my collection anymore!) - and also because it has Robert Sheehan in it and i don't remember because i was too busy drooling over David I also bought the 'Rock Rivals' boxset which is shameful because i remember it being absolutely SHITE but it was only £2 (with free postage) and it has...yep...you guessed it...Robert Sheehan in it I'm not entirely sure i can add any more fancy men to my fandom list! It's hard enough keeping up with David/Phil Glenister/John Simm/Aidan Gillen/Robert Carlyle/Gerard Butler/Neil Pearson without adding Robert Sheehan into the mix! But, you know, variety is the spice of life Must keep away from my debit card for a while now though. It's suffering from exhaustion!

You're liable to corrupt my girlish innocence. ;D Kelsey, I understand about the Colin Firth thing. He seems to be having a resurgence at the moment, and I'm very pleased about that.

I *LOVE* that film! Not for Colin Firth but for the quite gorgeous Jeffrey Dean Morgan *starts bawling* DENNY!!!!!! I felt like I'd been whapped upside the head with a two-by-four when he died--and that whole thing of him coming back as a 'ghost'/brain tumour illusion...yeah, that's about when I stopped watching Grey's Anatomy. Blecch. I don't really have money to spend on frivolous things, but the last DVD I bought was Lucrezia Borgia (Germany, 1922), entirely because it stars Conrad Veidt, for whom I now harbour quite the madly passionate attachment. The blame for this lies squarely on celia_j's shoulders, since she's the Conniephile who infected me with Veidt virus! Though as I pointed out to her, let's see--Connie was 6'3", with dark hair and astounding blue eyes...well, hell, at least we're consistent, eh? And as someone recently noted at Tumblr, the great thing about falling in love with actors long dead is that they can't serve you with restraining orders. But in the category of living actors I'm rather partial to who possibly should serve me with a restraining order, I nearly took advantage of our local Blockbuster going out of business, since they had used copies of both The Other Boleyn Girl and Is Anybody There? on sale for a whopping two dollars each; however, I had just watched TOBG on tv recently (well, just Mr M's scenes) and I sternly reminded myself that I could easily get either film from Netflix whenever I want, so I escaped the store without forking out any cash (after checking to see if they had a copy of The Thief of Bagdad--Conrad Veidt's only colour film, which I am determined to own at some point). Later, of course, I wished I had gotten Is Anybody There?, though--it would be nice to have all that mishugina mullet magnificence handy at a moment's notice, that's all. *sigh*
