I'm so glad I read this thread before thinking about going out and getting hold of this movie, as it saved me from feeling even more frustrated than I just am having located and watched Mr Morrissey's scenes on YouTube. Always a pleasure to see him, of course, but as Lilly so rightly said, massive misuse of talent fail Just in case anyone else wants to save themselves some time and cut to the essentials, the eight minutes start here - skip straight to 7:47 to avoid any unnecessary plot nonsense. Having watched only Mr Morrissey's scenes I have no idea what was going on, of course - but I won't be losing sleep over that Here are a few caps - Mr Morrissey favouring us with more emoting than the script really deserves (and also looking startlingly Gordon Brown-y in places ) A little neck porn? (You have to take your pleasures where you can with this movie ) This last one is quite aaaw... I kinda have the urge to give him a cuddle at this point....

I watched Derailed for DM, and I saw him, and that's pretty much all that can be said about his performance! I did start to get into the film after a certain terrible scene with Jennifer Anniston. That was shocking and unexpected. Unfortunately, the subsequent plot twists negated the impact of that scene and "derailed" the suspense. Vincent Cassel did a good job of making me hate his guts. Part of me wanted Charles and Lucinda to get together, even at the end. We didn't really get to know his wife. Clive Owen was an obsession of mine. I think he's unconventionally attractive and a good actor. He was awesome in "Closer". It was quite brave to play a character who's passive and ineffectual for most of the film.
