(Doh, I originally typed the the last word in the thread title as, "Randyosity." Well, if the shoe fits...) Random Picspam Is Random! This first one I've seen loads of times but I'm not sure if it's ever been posted here or not...ohmigod, it's almost like he cheered up for a second! Don't worry, though--we'll soon have him back to Utmost-Cookie-Lacking Despair, though. Aw, cheer up, hon. There are crazed fangirls on teh internets who think you're a bit of all right, even if they initially find themselves unable to stop laughing at yet another photo in which you look like a primo advertisement for antidepressants...you know, like this? Aw, there's the smiley-boo... Man. I'd kill to hear That Voice doing iambic pentameter. If I remember correctly, this next picture is by Andy Farrington, who also took one of my favourite photos of Sylvester McCoy--jeez, what an amazing talent that guy is. (Well, that describes all three of the fellas in question, actually.) I still have to quickly avert my eyes from that last one. *runs away before he can more fully behold the depravity that lurks in my soul*

This first one I've seen loads of times but I'm not sure if it's ever been posted here or not...ohmigod, it's almost like he cheered up for a second! LOL, if there was a shot which I might see fit to put up among my small photo collection at work, it'd be this one LOL, he is a poster boy of sorts for the phrase, "Need some pep in your step?" Dammit, I wish he'd just Shakespeare me already! FLMAO!!I love that one!! Speaking of averting one's eyes, I didn't think it was worth starting a thread with a single pic, so I'm glad you've given me the chance to post this one, which I've gotten used to now, but kinda floored me upon initial viewing: kitty

Oh yes, that last picture taken at some kind of BS2 junket is just gorgeous - I had it as my wallpaper for a while. Here's another one - very smiley this time:

Gorgeously hypnotic, yep ;D Ah, so you do the desktop wallpaper thing too! I like keeping my computer wallpapers neutral, so have instead printed it out as a photo and have it up on the side of my filing cabinet (with the first B&W shot Lilly posted) alongside my beloved Mr. Tennant...and Obama (just cos he's cool). Thanks for posting that pic *beams*...but LOL, Lilly won't like it in the slightest And cheers for posting the NPG link, but it didn't work for me. I hope this was what you were getting at? Although he does look a little funny in that shot, I'd recommend checking out Born Romantic, which is the film featuring him looking like that, if only to see him doing a little dancing in it: Oddly enough, while doing the NPG search, it also provided a pic of his son for good measure...erm, not that I wish to be reminded of real life at all whatsoever there kitty

Yes, at the moment I have the black and white pic as my desktop - the one you have up on your filing cabinet. It's that half smile combined with the mischievous twinkle in the eye - lovely. Yes, that's the one. The whole link wouldn't highlight in the post for some reason. Born Romantic is on my to-see list!

Found this magazine being sold by someone on EBay. Dodgy scan, but still... arresting, non? Those eyes! *stares, mesmerised* Wow, thanks for posting that! Um...yeah...*drifts off into blissful nothingness for 5 minutes, drifts back to reality, shakes head* geez, I'm struggling to muster up a coherent reaction to that pic, other than to say I DO have the 1983 DVD, which I also hope to cap with H&J and TOBG this week. Shots like that, or more to the point, the sentiments they elicit, are kinda the reason why I'm indulging in some creative writing to vent my spleen, one of the fruits of which I've gotten to *ahem* posting here *ahem* For some reason that pic is also harking to one of my previous crushes, Edward Norton (yes, I know I'm weird). I think there's a similar kind of intensity, and perhaps a sinister air to his look (only exacerbated by the mo', LOL!) that just kills me completely BTW, while on the topic of random pics I also have this link to some pics from the BFI London Film Festival via LJ. Enjoy! kitty

There's a portrait of Mr Morrissey at the National Portrait Gallery (quite right too). I went ahead and fixed the link, btw--hope that's okay. (For future reference, use the url brackets at the beginning and end of links that are uncooperative in that fashion.) Aw, the National Gallery is one of my favourite places in London--shaddup, I know it's touristy, I sooo don't care--though I was kind of shocked that the National Portrait Gallery is so darned small. I mean, I'm not a size queen in every single way, but I hadn't expected it to be just a sort of afterthought-addendum to the National Gallery, ya know? (Once again, expectations--like payback--are quite the bitch.) Or at the very least somewhat fruitful macro or icon material. Thanks for posting that pic *beams*...but LOL, Lilly won't like it in the slightest Pah! I am made of sterner stuph at this point! *wobbles slightly* Found this magazine being sold by someone on EBay. Dodgy scan, but still... arresting, non? Those eyes! *attempts to pick jaw off floor, fails, contemplates new career as a flycatcher* As my hero Joel Hodgson once opined, "I'm weird, which results in creativity!" Aw, bless. (You and him both, really.) I particularly liked the, "Mister Serious" shot... ...as it corresponds to what I've noted to kitty previously regarding the touch of grey in the sideburns-- NOICE. (Though the angry feminazi side of me bridles at how when men have grey hair, they're merely regarded as distinguished and authoritative, whereas with us chicks, it just connotes that we're past our prime, if not on the direct downward spiral to inexorable crone-dom.) Still, it's about damned time in this case, since I've been feeling fairly resentful for a while now that someone older than me has less grey in his hair. *shakes fist at own genetics*

Agreed Oh, tell me about it! I'm a good few years younger than Mr Morrissey too, but the last time I saw my hairdresser she hinted delicately that although my hair was lovely, I might like to think about colouring it 'in a year or two' (translation: get a dye job pronto, you old bat). And there was me actually quite liking my hair the way it is

I shouldn't worry if I were you. I've always been rather partial to Patrick Stewart, who has no hair at all and is old enough to be my grandad Time for a couple more random pics:
