Thanks for the links Felix Coincidentally enough, I got to watching the tennis into the early hours of this morning, and as the Murray Vs. Roddick match was about to start I wondered whether he might be in attendance...not really expecting the possibility that I could actually be right! Can't help but give two thumbs up for citing McEnroe and Connors as fav players ;D As for the pic, LOL, I'd imagine those plastic moulded seats wouldn't be all that comfortable for someone his height. But I like the glasses kitty

Thanks for the links Felix Deeto! Though when I listened to the interview last night I was all, "OMG, HE DID NOT JUST CALL HIM, 'STEVEN,' DID HE?!" I'm sure the poor guy's had to deal with that his entire career, but it's not like one could ever truly confuse the two of them, so jeez...like, negative style points there, Mayo. (Both of 'em being Northern gits who own a sizeable chunk of my heart really isn't germane to this particular discussion.) Though that does remind me of something La Kitzarina sent me a while ago, from her, "Position of the Day" book: As I told her, I'm pretty sure the Morrissey referred to therein is Steven, as he seems to be saying, "Please, nice lady, stay at least a foot away from me at all times." Yeah, I was a bit of a McEnroe fangirl myself back inna day, though for some strange reason I couldn't help thinking of his onetime rant oft-used by MST3K: "Why don't you grow some hair?!" Oh, it depends on the motivation, methinks; my 6'5" ex-fiancé had no trouble squozing himself into his Porsche on a regular basis, after all. (Yes, what a gal with a distinct predilection for little dark wormy guys was doing with a big ole ginger Scots bloke still defies the imagination, though to quote my favourite Doctor, "Love has never been known for its rationality"...and no, for the record, the Porsche wasn't a factor, since he didn't buy it until after we had broken up. Though it required significantly more maintenance than I do, I still suspect it got better mileage and had a higher resale value.) And I like the fact he actually goes out and about with his wife so frequently. Not all of them do, ya know. ETA: Just happened across this photo of the interview, erm, in medias res, so to speak.

At this rate we might be considered pre-emptive restraining-order candidates, so I wouldn't count my chickens there necessarily Well if it's possible to find a shot of him watching the soccer, that would be worth a comparison. Yeah, tis cute Although they're locals who may have done it a million times over already, I'm surprised they didn't do the whole strawberries-and-cream thing you traditionally do at Wimbledon. Then again that's probably just my foodie tendencies at play once again kitty

Though I think between the vast geographical differences in our locations and the fact that we do in fact Have Lives--much as our posts here might occasionally indicate otherwise (erm, well, mine anyway)--he can prolly relax on that score. Or like I said to you in email, no matter how much angst we both might feel about how Mr. Infernally Delicious has so summarily commandeered our hearts and nads, it's not like we actually would ever wanna cause ANY distress for him whatsoever, after all. (Not unless he asks very nicely, of course.) Playing it would be even better...oh, wait, slightly different motivation there. *coughs uncomfortably* LMAO--it always harkens back to the oral fixation with us, huh?

I know...just being tongue-in-cheek, is all I'm sure there's got to be a pic out there somewhere which demands the caption "Please hurt me"...somewhere ;D *coughs* Meadowlands *coughs* Well it's better than having some of Freud's other fixations kitty

Particularly given my habitual blondeness 'n whatnot, I'm honestly surprised I ever pick up on any of your wry asides whatsoever. Ya know, I would really appreciate it if you would stop reading my mind from over 8,000 miles away like that--LOL!! Yeah, because sometimes a kitty burrito is just a kitty burrito...erm, well...you know what I mean. (Though I think the less said here about strawberries and cream, the better.)

Given what we've recently been discussing in other threads, allow me to congratulate you on using that particular phraseology and causing me to sporfle unduly in consequence. I prefer not to clarify my statement in lieu of simply muddying the waters further instead.
