Oops, just realised some of these are already posted elsewhere. Sorry, should've looked around more first Oh that's okay, there should probably be tighter boundaries around comment threads versus pic threads...but as is more often than not the case, the two tend to get blurred *shrugs* I want to thank you heaps actually, cos you've reminded me that this film needs to be screencapped to within an inch of its proverbial life! And again, I'd agree with you...I wouldn't have touched this film with a barge pole if not for him being in it, but lordy-lord, does he make it all worthwhile *fans self at Reaping flashbacks* kitty

Ooh, yes - screencaps would be fabulous (were you offering by any chance? ) I'd do it myself but I don't have the knowhow. I watched this movie on late-night TV last week and promptly ordered the DVD, which arrived just this morning . Very silly film indeed but I was highly entertained all the same. I'd never have pictured Mr Morrissey as a tanned, plaid-shirted, outdoorsy, offroadin' kinda guy, but I can only be grateful that the casting director had more imagination than me. In the event I was so busy marvelling at the extreme foxiness of Doug that I barely noticed the ten plagues

Ooh, yes - screencaps would be fabulous (were you offering by any chance? ) I'd do it myself but I don't have the knowhow. Lilly and myself are kinda doing a little double-team operation where I produce the caps through my DVD player software (which happens to have a 'snapshot' function so you can take pics of what's on screen basically) and she fixes them up lighting and sharpeness-wise. So far I've done Sense & Sensibility, BI2 and The Next Doctor and already have plenty of caps, a few of which she's posted here. I plan on getting to his other films, including The Reaping, but already have Blackpool and State of Play on DVD at home to go through, so it shall be a long-term operation That's probably how I'd describe the US projects he was involved in generally...silly but vaguely entertaining ;D Agreed Yeah, I was rather incoherent too every time he appeared...especially second time around when I already knew the plot (yes, I have indeed seen this film twice ). Kept calling him '"a peach...a goddamn peach" for some reason kitty

Oops, just realised some of these are already posted elsewhere. Sorry, should've looked around more first As kitty (the soon-to-be-mod already ably fulfilling that role!) said, don't sweat it, hon. We're all about sharing the love and the squee, and I try to keep my customary pedantry down to a dull roar about such things. Mind you, I'm wondering how you guys would feel if I perhaps consolidated these photo and film discussion threads? (Provided of course I can figger out how to do so.) LOL at kitty's "peachy" fixation--and I'm sure no discussions we've had or icons I've made had whit one to do with that, right?

Personally I think that might be a good idea. Is there a way in which we can have a pic gallery/section that's purely a storage spot (sans comments) for folk to find and/or rate pics number or star-wise? kitty

I'm about halfway through capping The Reaping so far (up to *that* bit right now, but can't bring myself to cap it yet ). Here's a preview of a few gems I've encountered... And last, but certainly not least... kitty

He does, which I was pretty surprised at, having revisited the DVD yesterday, cos in real life there's this: Funny what a big difference a tan can make, huh? kitty

And now, for a bit of a laugh, thought I'd add this one, which is a bit of a twist on an old angst-ridden squinchy-faced theme: ;D kitty

But then he's on the golf course, and golfers play by their own sartorial rules It's true though, for milky-white British types (and I count myself as a particularly pasty example), yellow is rarely a flattering choice...

Actually I'm liking the haircut It wouldn't look right with a more formal, suited & booted, State-of-Play kind of look, but for Doug's brand of hunky casual I think it works. In fact everything about Doug is working for me

And what a twist I actually didn't remember this moment but then I rewatched the sequence (only for research of course) and realised that's because it's so brief as to be almost subliminal. So thanks for the screencap Sorry about the multiple posts btw - I haven't worked out how to quote from more than one post at a time
