A little of teh goofy, anyone?  *helpless laughter* I especially like the fact that when you scroll down, it almost works as a gif. (Noooo, I can't make it into one right now, I have two birthday cards to finish before the weekend!) My sister recently asked what I wanted for Christmas, and though I said I would refer her to my Amazon Wish List, I'm now thinking that a region-free DVD player should really be the first item therein (if I can find one that's cheap enough, anyway); the more Blackpool stuph you guys show me, the more that DVD kitty sent me is burning a hole in my brain. (Or other parts of me. I prefer to keep it nonspecific.) |

If you'd like to share the task I'd be happy to help out. Lord knows, staring at Ripley for hours on end is no hardship for me LOL, I'm cool to share...would you be happy to go halvies? If so, I'll allow you to select your half, and I'll do the other  I suppose if 'any disgrace' includes eternal damnation, then yeah, that just about covers it A little of teh goofy, anyone?  LMAO!! My vid player can slow the film down to about a tenth of the normal playback speed, so I'm happy to take requests in terms of capping parts to make them into gifs, if need be  kitty |

I've still some way to go in sorting out the caps from Framed, so it'll take me a little time to get around to it anyway. Blackpool alone would be enough to make it worthwhile (though if you think you're in the grip of fangirly psychosis now, you should perhaps brace yourself for the intensity to ratchet up another few notches. Come to think of it, given that you also have a weakness for Mr Tennant then that goes double) but of course a region-free DVD player would also be your gateway to One Summer A couple more random pics just to help things along...   |

When I was showing my niece those Blackpool clips, my sister was in the room initially and though she'd seen "These Boots" before (can't imagine where or how *shifty eyes*), that point where Ripley is walking along and chewing gum, she pointed at the screen and went, "Oh, ya gotta love that attitude!" (Considering she was also there during my misbegotten attempt to make screencaps off Game of Death and was all, "Oh noes!" at the beginning bit with the gun, I then turned around and informed her that this may well be a familial weakness, so if she knows what's good for her, she should turn around and run, run for her life NOW before the incubus takes hold of her too.) Well, far be it from me to try and influence your Christmas present choices but for what it's worth I do think that if you got one you'd never look back. Don't you think I know that's the problem? Making it worse, how could it be worse? Jehovah, Jehovah, Jehovah!!  Okay, it's official. I am now voicing my utmost concern and/or sneaking suspicion that you work for a DVD player manufacturer. *clappy hands* Thankee kindly, missy. I'm not entirely happy with the final results, but I took a shot at making those two caps into icons...   |

If anyone is still around and cares about Blackpool stuff i recently had a rewatch and a marathon capping session - i have MANY icons of Ripley, MANY screencaps and also a few gifs i stole from somewhere or other.
