I've recently been scoping out various screencap sites for icon-making purposes, but it belatedly occurred to me that I should prolly be posting some of the pictures here, so batten down the hatches, kids, cos them there's some powerful cute happenin' here. This first I can't use for an icon anyway--or rather, it necessitates mad skilz of a type I presently do not possess--but it served as a visceral reminder to me that Teh Goofy...oh, how I am but a hopeless slave to it. If this next doesn't constitute a major instance of Shoulder Porn, I dunno what is. *attempts not to faint outright* This next one reminds me of a photo of the Russian Five in profile I used to have on my wall, which I always referred to as, "the Tournament of Noses" (potentially needless American cultural reference explained here...ah, Wikipedia, your frequently questionable veracity aside, my existence would be naught without you): Quite the sterling incipient-serial-killer-mojo Mr. Morrissey has goin' on in this one. (That one invariably led to the following icon--I'm sorry, I know I should seek professional help post-haste.) With regard to the next--OMFG, Cigarette Porn! Eyelashes Porn! Complete porny sensory overload! *flails, dies quietly* And re: this last, as I already noted to kitty@LJ, my initial response went along the lines of, "HO. LEE. FOOKIN. 'ELL!!!" Given the notable lack of a certain scene not pictured herein, those pictures will be in my next post, but since they derive from my own screencaps off YouTube, many pre-emptive apologies for the lamentable visual quality upfront.

Aw, crap, it's been a day now and I still can't come up with a fully coherent reaction But nonetheless, here goes nothing: OMG!OMG!OMG!OMG!OMG!OMG!OMG!OMG!OMG!OMG! *flails hysterically* Now I've gotten that out of my system.... - *puts caption-thinking-cap on* Was thinking with Pic 1, "I'm having you for breakfast", which isn't so far derived from the caption you made up for the billy-goats-butting-heads icon, although in my half-sleepy daze I'm now thinking "Let's dance" for that one - LMAO, shoulder porn...is there any body part that this show doesn't pornify?! - LMAO (again!) at your serial-killer reference...Heaven forbid the guy ever does a Nick Nolte and ends up having a mug shot taken of him while he's out of it (preferably wearing the red Hawaiian shirt ala IAT?...and perhaps the accompanying hair too) ;D - Your reference to eyelash porn has prompted a certain embellishment to the Egyptian sojourn, so cheers for the prod Love that shot, BTW...dunno why, but I do - As for that ice-cream shot... FRAKIN' ZOINKS! I'm grabbing myself a drink to swig, me thinks (a lamentable coping mechanism, I know *shrugs*). But tis a shame it's a scan rather than an original shot kitty

Aw, crap, it's been a day now and I still can't come up with a fully coherent reaction LOL, welcome to my world, bb. LMFAO!! Those are the most unmitigated levels of squee I've managed to elicit out of you thus far (well, expressed on this board anyway). I can only cite here the macro from my forthcoming, "Let's All Go to the Uffizi!" picspam@LJ: Inspirational little thing that you so invariably are, would this be an acceptable variation on that theme? (Dammit, one of these days I really need to stop doing icons that merely express what I'm thinking.) Your wish, my command, etc. Though admittedly that picture lends itself to a multiplicity of options... Well, not having actually seen the entire show, I can only offer the observation that there's precious little we prolly can't eroticise when given half a chance, as you recently noted. But with such profoundly inspirational material, how could it be otherwise? LOL, somehow he strikes me as a bit too sensible for such things...of course, those are always the ones you gotta watch out for, too. I love how once again, your Carlisle-esque tendency to graze nonstop raises its perky little nosh-prone head...but indeed, if I hadn't given up alcohol five years ago, that would probably drive me to drink as well. I know, and not the greatest scan acuity-wise, either. Still, I think the subject matter transcends such concerns, all told. *smirk* And just for good measure... Though as I've already noted to kitty, as it is essentially impossible for some of us to look at that screencap and not wishfully contemplate actually having that perspective in a vastly more personal context, I'd kinda hope he'd look happier, though. And sweatier.

I can only cite here the macro from my forthcoming, "Let's All Go to the Uffizi!" picspam@LJ You know I'll be hanging out for that one! It's acceptable, but I would have to question whether they would get to a kitchen table in time? LMHO! Nothing wrong with being vicarious ;D Ta! Blame it on the Bowie song, m'kay LOL! I wonder if the text might be a bit long for that pic in icon size to read, but it would definitely work for a larger pic. And who's the devil there, might I ask? Oh, of course, I was just amused at the visual prospect rather than the scenario itself You won't get any arguement from me there...that was just my perfectionism cropping up again And that's why I'd rather imagine it in my own little demented head than to see him 'act it out' so to speak But thanks to your posting of that cap, I've gone back to looking at Blackpool clips for the zillionth time...including source of said cap *sly grin* kitty

You know I'll be hanging out for that one! Aw, bless. Like I said, it's going to take me a while to find all the paintings online and then process them in Gimp, but I hope it'll be worth the wait...not in the least cos in my continued tendency to sublimate frustration, apart from the Hague, the Uffizi is the museum I most wish I'd gotten to while I was in Europe. (I mentally flipped a coin between Florence and Glasgow for my spring break destination, but Scotland won out on the grounds that I speak the language there--well, more or less--and Glasgow is where my then-fiancé is from. Glad I went, just wish I'd somehow managed to work Italy into my travel destinations as well.) Though admittedly the Walker Gallery has rather piqued my interest as well of late...no idea why, of course. LOL, in our minds, probably not. But that's why the floor is a perfectly acceptable substitute, eh? You know, if we ever can put a new banner up here, I think that's a definite candidate for the tag line. *insert obligatory whine here about if I still had Photoshop instead of Gimp* Who says it's anyone in the photo, as opposed to, say, the maker of the icon herself? *smirk* I happened across this photo the other night, and given that my first reaction was to laugh and think, "Mugshot!" would this perhaps suffice? Any thoughts about what the possible charges could be there, btw? Is it still a hanging offence in Britain to be an egregiously smexay bastard? ;D

LOL, in our minds, probably not. But that's why the floor is a perfectly acceptable substitute, eh? Yeah...but floors are boring *girly pout* LOL, go ahead, feel free to take LMAO! Touche...that idea didn't occur to me *smirks, folds arms* Nah, he's not grim enough in that shot. Surely you could find a shot of him looking more miserable than that LOL, it might still be a hanging offence in that part of the world to be over the age of 40 and still possess your real teeth *Dr Evil pinky-pose* kitty

Yeah...but floors are boring *girly pout* I should think that would entirely depend upon the state of said floor... and who's on it. There are many words that spring to mind with that particular combination, but somehow I doubt that, "boring" would be among them, n'est-ce pas? LMFAO--where would I even start, given the overwhelming extent of choices in that particular oeuvre? He ALWAYS looks miserable! (Well, okay, there are more than a few exceptions, but you know perfectly well I still have to avert my eyes from most of the smiley-boo type of pics in order not to exacerbate my already-grievous cardiac condition where those are concerned.) Aaaaaand kitty earns double meanie points for both the mocking of age and allusion to British orthodontia! EVIL WIN.

When you can have a choice of a myriad of places, I just find floors so very, well, orthodox *yawns* Now upon a stove...that'd make life interesting *ahem* That's kinda my point Well, go on Uncle, I've been a very naughty girl to tease you like that. I deserve to be duly punished kitty

When you can have a choice of a myriad of places, I just find floors so very, well, orthodox *yawns* Aw, I dunno--you're quite the resourceful little thing, I'm sure you could get creative there too. LMAO, now all I can suddenly think about is the gas stove at my old house that had a griddle on it; my ex-boytoy and I used it frequently to make pancakes, but in an apparent failure of imagination, that option never occurred to us. Now, the trellis and grotto in the backyard, though? Quite a different story there. Is that your less-than-subtle hint that there should be a fanfic section herein?
