I'm not sure if it's appropriate to start a new thread for this, but I wondered if anyone has seen it and can recommend? I'm thinking I need to sign up for some DVD rentals so I can catch up with things like this and Drowning by Numbers that currently aren't available to buy (or, like BI2, not necessarily worth actually investing in. Once may, just conceivably, be more than enough ).

I'm not sure if it's appropriate to start a new thread for this, Hey, if there's no existing thread about, feel free to start your own! Tis what forums are for, after all. I'm actually looking to access online DVD rental to be able to see Some Voices, as I can't find it at any local DVD hire places here While I haven't seen it, I'm just curious to see what the erm, dynamic is between him and Mr. Craig (whom I'm rather fond of as JB *blushes*) Hopefully the caps here will suffice so you won't have to suffer through that abomination again *jabs at Lilly to get a wriggle on with posting caps* kitty

I think they play brothers so I guess the dynamic will be pretty, well, fraternal. Still, just seeing the two of them in the same room may give you food for thought

Still, just seeing the two of them in the same room may give you food for thought I didn't expect any, erm, 'interesting' dynamics while watching Framed (with Timothy Dalton) and Blackpool either, yet ended up thinking after watching both series, "Guys, seriously...get a room." So I'm opting to remain open-minded kitty

Ah, Framed - something else I haven't seen yet, apart from an intriguing little snippet on YouTube of Messrs Dalton and Morrissey playing chess. Is it good? If so I'll add it to my rapidly growing list...

If so I'll add it to my rapidly growing list... It's very popcorny midday-movie fare, but features seduction through foodstuffs...and Penelope Cruz I liked it (especially the relationship development between Dalton and Morrissey ) but it is quite long, a good solid afternoon's worth of viewing. kitty

I'm actually looking to access online DVD rental to be able to see Some Voices, as I can't find it at any local DVD hire places here Feeling your pain yet again; the only used region 1 copy of that currently available off Amazon is going for something like sixty bucks, and while I may be deranged, I'm not made of money, either. I've found BI2 going for something like five dollars new...uhm, not that I was looking for it, or anything. (BTW, please know that I am looking into how I can upload more smilies herein, so y'all can have more options that way as well.) Well, if you'd gimme a chance to catch up with all the posts you and Celia have made...jeez, chica, whadaya think I am, an admin or something? Oh...erm, never mind. Well, considering that after I made one offhand comment to Deb after seeing Finney and she's still after me to write some hawt Finney-on-Finney brutha-lovin' action, I'd say that all bets are off, actually. And quite the adorably cherubic little bottom Mr. Morrissey makes, too. Darlin', I think at this point the question is not, "Is it good?" but rather, "Is it available on region 2 DVD?" perhaps. (Though I've already had to resort to VHS a time or two as well.)

Yep, it's going for a song - I just found it for three quid new. And though I've been resisting (because although I haven't seen it I've read enough about it - not least on this forum - to know to expect a cast-iron turkey and a massive waste of Mr Morrissey's talents) I just gave in and ordered it I'm only buying it to check out the fridge, obviously

All I can suggest is to make an occasion of it; make yourself comfy, indulge in some comfort food (I tend to go ice cream or popcorn when it's a movie) and allow the heady spectacle to wash over you Oh, of course. We all seem to have dibs on that fridge, don't we? kitty

Very true ;D I speak as someone who's just ordered the DVD of The Knock, which is billed as 'a six-part drama about the working and personal lives of British Customs and Excise officers' The way things are at the moment I'd watch a drama about quantity surveyors if I thought Mr Morrissey was going to be in it
