I neglected to point out how much I love the, "I dint do nuffink!" face in that second-to-last pic. The godlike being known as yliantilla has uploaded one scene thus far to YouTube, but I'm presuming that more are on the way; in any case, as I tweeted celia, there's nothing to get your motor started quite like waking up to a little unexpected Squinchy Face action.

I've not seen The Knock (yet...it's on my to do list, right under DM's name...*whistles innocently*) but looking through these caps i have just realised i love David Morrissey. I mean i actually *LOVE* him. He is lovely. So pretty.
*skips off somewhere else to gush*

I managed to finish watching The Knock in 2 days. ;DI enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I liked many of the actors in the cast. They had good chemistry too. DM's performance is less memorable that I've seen him give in other films, but still he had several great moments. It's another ambiguous character that he does so well. Gerry initially comes across as being rather weak and idiotic. I wanted to slap some sense into him. Then, almost without you noticing it,he crosses over into something else. I don't want to give too much away. There was a delicious kissing scene that I rewound several times. I have to take what I can get! ;D

Not as much as I expected given that his name comes up second on the opening credits. Screentime is divided between 5 or 6 main characters, and the villains get a fair amount as well. Incidentally, I forgot to mention some Hilary and Jackie foreshadowing! There's a romantic scene between 2 characters, one of whom is a cellist. She had a Jacqueline Dupre concerto (Elgar, I believe) playing in the background!
