"A five-day drama workshop, organized by United Nations Relief and Work Agency (UNRWA) for Palestinian refugees from schools across the country, made sure some of their messages were heard this week. With the help of British actor and director David Morrissey, star of films Captain Corelli’s Mandolin and Sense and Sensibility, 65 children aged between 11 and 16 were brought together from different UNRWA schools to find out that learning is not always about what you read in books." samtphoto.blogspot.com/2009/10/he-was-in-doctor-who-yknow.html

Having recently borrowed my sister's digital camera, I've been having loads of fun finally being able to document my life for my pals on the interwebs, but I didn't want to commemorate the reaction I had to this thread because a) I'm not presently wearing any makeup b) My hair is messy c) I am vain as all get-out (Q.E.D.) so this approximation will have to suffice (besides, who would you rather look at, me or DT? C'mon, that one's not even close!): Just imagine, uhm...no glasses, blonde hair, eyes much more like this: I'm totally thinking that felix needs to be proclaimed the Official DMF2 Informational Guru Par Excellence at this point...and yeah, I thanked the photographer on the forum's behalf, cos ya know, even the most abject fangirly psychosis does not in fact preclude simple politeness...erm, most of the time, anyway.

Seconded Oh, I'm glad you did that I nearly posted some glowing comments meself but a vote of thanks on behalf on the forum is much better. I can't stop looking at that pic, actually (and as it's now the wallpaper on my phone, I don't have to ). In a world where portraits of actors and other slebs are all too often Photoshopped into line-free, character-free blandness, how fabulous to see a face that's so wondrously, gorgeously lived-in ♥

I nearly posted some glowing comments meself but a vote of thanks on behalf on the forum is much better. Well, feel free to saunter along and add your comments as well. Always nice to have some backup on d, dontcha know. *tries desperately not to think about how much she toggled with her latest Facebook pic* Yeah, I know what you mean-- absafrigginlutely. It reminds me of what I recently said to kitty about Neil Finn (there, I Googled so you don't have to) and an early Split Enz video when he was still in all his gangly, awkward teenage glory--I love seeing the boy he was, and the man he became. (I think the implied reference to One Summer is fairly self-evident here.) BTW, here's another item from that same day. I'm afraid the term, "smushable" is now uppermost in my mind.
