I've been catching up with Family Guy: Season 6 on DVD the past week, and got to watching an episode called 'Road to Rupert'. To thumbsketch the plot, Brian accidentally sells Stewie's beloved teddybear Rupert to a guy at a garage sale, and they go off to track him down.
Now, you're probably wondering at this point how this might have anything to do with Mr. M. Basically, there's a part in the episode where Stewie, devestated at the loss of his dear companion, describes Brian's actions as "worse than sex with Sharon Stone", followed by this little Basic-Instincty segue:
Aside from cracking up from laughter, I did a SERIOUS double-take. While the voice had no resemblance at all, I couldn't help but remark upon the odd fact that, of all the possible aesthetics the poor gentleman in question could possess, they happen to be in remarkably close vicinity to, well...DM's
Most likely it's pure coincidence, and neither the creators or animators have ever seen either Basic Instinct 2 or State of Play, but in any case, as evidenced by my icon, I'm choosing to run with it ;D
