More Macbeth stuffs

Firstly, the sad news that Jemma Redgrave has pulled out the production:

But she has been replaced by Julia Ford - who i must say i know better than Jemma Redgrave so i eagerly anticipate what she brings to the production

That's a bit of a shame about Jemma Redgrave--I just saw her in I'll Be There (with Craig Ferguson, who was brilliant as always) and spent much of the film envisioning what her Lady Macbeth might be like.

But RMR (where did I get "RVR" from? Sorry, evidently having a Blonde Moment), thanks so much for the link to those rehearsal shots of Fuzzy McWuzzykins--uhm, I mean, Mr M--and the rest of the cast. Much appreciated!

Thanks for the info and pics Ripley, I don't know Jemma Redgrave's or Julia Ford's work. I hope the new casting doesn't throw off the chemistry.

Heya folks,

Just thought I'd forward a couple of links to pic slideshows of Macbeth I came across while LJing this evening. The pics are a little small, sadly, and I don't know how to extract them from the slideshow. Hopefully there's someone more technologically minded than myself who could help out.

Thanks for the linky goodness, kitty. I was able to snag the first ones no problem, but the second bunch were rather small so I gave them a miss--though I did encounter one rehearsal shot I wanted to pass along: namely, this one.



While hanging out with my niece Amanda recently, she mentioned something about finding beards attractive, and while I generally don't, I had to show her the one exception that instantly sprang to mind--with the same caveat I made about masculine equipage, i.e. to me it's not so much about the beard, naughty bits, etc. as it is the owner.

This was the first photo that came up on Google, and Manda said, "Ooh, he has pretty eyes!" but made no comment on the beard.
