Did anyone else watch this when it aired on Sky One recently? It was a must-see for me because it reunited John Simm and Philip Glenister Brilliant storyline, right up my street, and i sincerely hope there will be a second series. Have to admit though, despite my undying love for both John and Phil (DM had to take a backseat for this one i'm afraid), it was Max Beesley who stole my eye in Mad Dogs. That man looked lush

That's quite all right--leaves more Glenister for me... (Yes, EVERYBODY BACK SLOWLY AWAY FROM QUINN AND NOBODY GETS HURT!!) *Lilly starts waving gun around haphazardly* I'm usually disinclined toward torrents on a moral/ethical level, but evidently my noble precepts on that count are soluble in fangirly squee, because some kind person at the gene_hunt comm at LJ posted the links to every episode and just made it too easy for me to download the episodes...and I was really glad that I did, because of how much I enjoyed Mad Dogs, especially getting to see the Glenister/Simm reunion in two roles very different from Gene and Sam! And from what I've heard from the Philaholics at Twitter, there will be a second series; my fervent hope is that it revolves around Quinn having become a viciously amoral drug lord who forces the others to become rent boys when they come back to rescue him. Hey, a girl can dream, can't she?

Indeed, a second series is confirmed and begins filming this month in Ibiza!! ;D As for the rent boy theory, i like it...as long as we don't have to see any more of Marc Warren's arse again!

Quite frankly, I'd be just fine if Warren and Beesley both get unavoidably detained at the airport and thus poor lil' Baxter tries to rescue Quinn all by his lonesome. Alternate plot idea: Ben Chaplin, Zombie Killing Machine. Quinn and Baxter must team up once Woody and Rick become zombie plat du jour. Action, adventure, and a triumph of the human spirit...not to mention plenty of slash for all concerned!

Nooooooooo! Warren can get inexplicably detained, but not The Beesley!! I luff him (only a bit, it's all relative to my love for a certain other couple of actors you know ) I was sold, during Mad Dogs, on the Woody/Baxter slash. I mean, i love Quinn/Baxter (well, i love Glenister/Simm anyway) but there is just something that...erm...fits...about Beesley and Simm. In my humble opinion of course
