Oooh no I had a feeling that might happen though. They've been really full on about the PG 13 thing recently. I wish we could make our own boards where we could age things up a bit, but I wouldn't know where to start  |

Ooh really? I wonder if it's possible to transfer info from another board over to them though, that's the thing... I wouldn't want to have to start all over again, that'd just be painful >_< And I like Proboards for the most part because I find them easier to work with design-wise. Ooooh well...

I think u can transfer all the info over BUT i wouldn`t know how to do it?..i like freeforums they are so easy to used & Support Team are helpful

Yeah I know... it's worse because the section they mentioned to me was hidden from public view anyway, but it's in their TOS I just wish there could be some allowance for adults (as in they could branch out into having specific message boards with TOS based around people of ages 15/16+ or something) - it's not as if I want to post anything illegal or hugely graphic anyway, often I just want to talk or write about things that might have a more mature theme (as people of our ages would be able to talk about openly via other means anyway). And besides, I'm pretty sure most 13 year olds know and get up to a lot more than some adults do >_< But the forums need to cover their backsides I guess *shrug* It's just frustrating. Parents are too lazy to actually parent their kids these days. If ever I hear "Won't someone think of the children!" my knee-jerk response is: "Yeah, their parents!" >_< You can't protect them from everything. They'll find out somehow, be it on TV, exposure to all those tarty pop stars who have no shame, internet, or the schoolyard. They can't be wrapped in cotton wool all their lives. But the key is to make them understand what's going on in the world around them and teach them how to deal with things properly... Sorry, I should really stop there. I'm getting into rant mode LOL! It's just something I feel really passionate about |
