RA has gotten me hooked onto Spooks again! I've been catching up on the earlier seasons. I love Harry, Ruth, Jo, Roz, Zaf, and even Adam is growing on me... ;DI wasn't too impressed with him when he replaced Mathew McFayden. I've been thinking that Hermione Norris, who plays Ros, would make a great co-star for David. She can do funny, serious, action. She's a mature, sexy woman who's different from the plastic Hollywood types. Plus she's tall and thus a great physical match for David. What do you guys think? Ripley, where have you gone this time? I'm getting worried because you're not talking about Richard Armitage in his thread. ;

;D I'm back (and have replied on the RA thread ) I like Hermione Norris. I always liked her in Cold Feet, and (of what i have seen) i like her in Spooks too. She strikes me as quite a versatile actress. And any pairing which leads to more DM on my screen (where has he gone?! No upcoming projects this side of Christmas ) can only be a good thing!

I actually haven't seen HN is anything other than Spooks, but she seems very versatile based on what I've seen. I must check out some of her other work. Maybe I should change this tread to "Actresses that DM should work with". I think he would make a great partner for Cate Blanchett. She can be a little cold on screen. She works best with earthy masculine men eg. Russell Crowe. DM fits that description!

I like Jessica Stevenson (/Hynes). She's such a wonderful, versatile actress - both doing serious (Doctor Who - Family of Blood) and comedy (Learners with DT, Spaced with Simon Pegg, The Royle Family). I'd like to see her and David together, i think they would bounce of each other well.
