I watched this film again on DVD recently, and enjoyed it a lot. The acting was superb, as were sets and costuming and lighting . Guess what caught my eye as I glanced at the trivia section at Imdb?
"A subplot with David Morrissey as a friend of Vermeer was dropped during editing of the film. None of his scenes feature on the DVD release."
Did anyone else know that he was in this film?

Darn, I wished we could have seen his scenes on the DVD! I was more impressed with Colin Firth's subtle performance this time around. He's pretty darned sexy too! ;D What do you guys think about David and Colin doing a film together? "Girl with a Pearl Earing has" triggered my on-off crush with CF. ;D I'm going to check out his films again! ;D
