I love those caps, thanks for posting them, whiterose It's a bit wrong to find yourself attracted to someone in Nazi uniform, but its still really smart and when the actor who's playing the part is handsome like David you just can't help yourself (it's the same with Phil Glenister, in Island At War).

I dunno--perhaps the whole Nazi uniform thing just adds a whole other gloriously naughty subtext, actually. (Not that I especially need one where Mr. Morrissey is concerned, mind you.)

Found more screencaps online but many apologies for the fact they're of considerably more dubious visual quality than those whiterose kindly furnished. Once more keeping Lucinda's needs in mind, however, we'll get these out of the way first: (Methinks the fellow on the left is lost in contemplation of what he'd rather be putting in his mouth about now.) I already mentioned something to kitty about the above screencap, but I ain't sayin' it here. Given the general tenor of my comments, however, I'm sure y'all can do the math accordingly. Another in the ongoing, "Did I leave the gas on?" oeuvre there. "Captain von Sexypants, reporting for duty!"

In the intervening fifteen months since that comment was originally posted, I happen to have seen Island At War as well and, uhm...I am now sitting here nodding like an out-of-control bobblehead, as words fail to convey just how much I now understand and agree with that statement. Though of these two particular British actors playing Nazis, I gotta give the nod to the Baron over Captain Weber, sorry. He had a much more convincing accent, just for starters...
