I've been trying to come up with a way to introduce myself, but after looking at the forum rules I'm convinced my habitually indecorous attitude will probably get me banned within a week anyway. Nevertheless, I must confess to coming here in order to commune with my fellow sufferers...uhm, I mean, fervent admirers of Mr. Morrissey's extraordinarily over-abundant charms. My own editorial policy can best be epitomised in the following terms: LAWD. HAVE. MERCY. !! *fans self* How awesome are you guys for starting this forum, though? *clappy hands* Dude totally deserves the recognition, IMO. (Besides, now I can stop treating Twitter as my semi-secret squee journal and blather on about him here instead.) Good on ya!

You are much too kind, though I quail at the thought of what you may be unleashing on an unsuspecting world.
The amount of squee I currently possess--or perhaps more accurately am possessed by (pesky succubus!)--cannot be easily contained within a single human form, nor indeed, any known large receptacle...though let's see, they've re-opened Wembley Arena, so maybe I could borrow that for the time being...?!
Much blatheration to follow. Consider yourselves warned, and forego protective gear at your own risk!
;D

Through my love for Austen, I got to Morrissey, and never was there a better Brandon! I am happily married with three children, and I live in the wrong century. I have just discovered Blackpool (cant remember what brought me to watching that show on youtube ..) And it's so fun and wow is he good in it. Have to watch on youtube, since it's not showing here in Norway. My favourites are some scenes from "Invisble" and "Knock knock" And of course, Cupid..

Velkommen å våre ny Norsk venn! Through my love for Austen, I got to Morrissey, and never was there a better Brandon! Having been rather keen on Alan Rickman's version, I now can only vociferously agree with you...while attempting to ignore the sensation of being a total fair-weather fangirl. D= Well, think of it this way...you were born in the century with the discovery of penicillin and women achieving the right to vote, so that's gotta count for something, right? As noted previously, oh, do I ever share your pain there--ditto re: its ongoing non-availability here in the States. Yeah, if they want to revisit the character in a third series, who's with me in voting that Ripley should never wear anything more than a towel...if not less?

Thanks for answering, and for a greeting in Norwegian which was almost perfect I couldn't keep myself any longer, so I ordered Blackpool at amazon yesterday. I feel so sorry for poor Ripley. Who will have that hideous Carlisle over Ripley anyway? Looking at all the comments, I understand that David Tennant is very popular, and obviously, it's all in the eye of the beholder, 'cause I do not find him attractiv at all. And, yes, penicillin and hygiene is worth it all to stay in 2009 ;D And... I dont care much for the towel

Thanks for answering, and for a greeting in Norwegian which was almost perfect It's what the translation engine gave me, though I know those sites are all too often made of fail. *HEAD DESK* Welcome to the club! Please be advised that authorities will be arriving at your home shortly, in order to cordon off the surrounding area and then embark on a detailed study of The Only Woman On Earth Who Doesn't Wanna Shag Tennant Senseless. (Actually, that's not strictly true, as I have another friend who feels the same way, but I ascribe that to the fact that like me, she's an Old Hu fan...but unlike me, she has more than a tad of bitterness about the popularity of Nu Hu.) Ah, but is it the towel, or rather what it happens to be obscuring that's the true problem there?

Ah, but is it the towel, or rather what it happens to be obscuring that's the true problem there? Though admittedly, towels are an ongoing problem with this one...

I think Tennant looks better in Blackpool than anything else he's been in Gah!

I'm way late coming into this thread but what the hell ;D Firstly - *gah* at the not finding DT attractive. I would pick DM over him ANYDAY but i can't help but absolutely adore DT as Casanova. Be still my beating heart. Secondly - the topless pick of Dave (with towel - dammit!) is that from BI 2? Can't quite place it, but he looks gooooood And thirdly - Cat9 (she'll probably never read this but hey ho) that icon is priceless. Simm/Morrissey FTW!
