I just saw this last night, and for those of you who are inclined to watch it for the same insanely hormonal reasons I have--and let's be honest, if you're reading this board, I'm going to assume that's part of your motivation as well--Mr. Morrissey's first appearance occurs about 22 minutes into the movie (although the first close-up isn't until about 28 minutes in). I've gotta say how glad I was to have immediately recognised his big ole actor-y voice, though, because in terms of visual identification, erm...totally thought it was Sweetums from The Muppet Show, yo. Not quite separated at birth, but... I'd always heard that Patrick Bergin's Robin Hood was immeasurably superior to Kevin Costner's, and despite the clunky script, I can definitely agree with that now, though some thoroughly unintentional comedy transpires from Jeroen Krabbé and Jürgen Prochnow's ever-so-1991 haircuts, and Uma Thurman is an infinitely better actress today than she was then (but oh, aren't we all?). Still, just for the several closeups of Mr. Morrissey's old gappy teeth, colour me filled with awww, and he acquits himself quite well in the fighting scenes as well. I do so love a man who's good with his stick like that.

Once you can find him under all that hair, I completely concur.

This was shown on the Fox Movie Channel today, and as I already confessed to kitty, I did in fact make an audible squeak when Little John first appeared; I was also prone to waaay too much giggling and *clappy hands* throughout. I'm so mental.
