Ooh, yes please... Though having watched H&J last night and experienced the awesomeness of Kiffer, if you're looking for other light-on-screentime projects to tackle then any caps from that would also be more than welcome Well, I'll see what I can do, but you're right about H&J also being light-on. It might be possible to get both done in quick time kitty

What you said at Twitter is making me LMAO--you're sooo spot-on with the Tim Finn comparisons! Nooo, those two don't come from the same basic ethnic phenotype at all, huh? Though I gotta say, once again...sorry, Tim, you know I love you like anything, but just like with your baby brother, you're comin' in second place with me here too, alas.

Thanks - once again! - for the caps Is it really bad that I had to google Tim Finn to find out who he was?

I was a little iffy about the comparison to start with, so it's good to have some kind of verification that I wasn't utterly delusional Well, I would hope that this little-known album cover might clarify the lack of your delusionality: (Yeah, I know, totally fudged on the height there...having seen Los Finns Fabulosos fairly up-close 'n personal, I can verify that they're pretty teensy lil' fellers; I gauged they were around my height--5'7"--or maybe 5'9" at the absolute most.) I have every faith in his ability to somehow weather the abject disappointment of once again coming second in my affections. No friggin' clue; I'm still just kinda at the fact he doesn't look anything like his dad or his uncle, so I'm guessing he must look like his mum...erm, presumably minus the beard. Why, who'd ya have in mind? Yes, it is really bad...though not as bad as my apparently-ridiculous assumption that since Señor Finn is quasi-local (bah, Kiwi, close enough), my other buddy in Oz would know who he was. Shows what I know, huh? Oh, you kids today, with your platform shoes, loud rock music and total inability to recognise semi-obscure Aussie musical icons of the 1980's! *stern schoolmarmish expression* Still, try to see that it doesn't happen again, eh? Because, ya know, it's vitally important that you correctly grok every last obscure allusion that kitty and I make, after all.

Now you come to mention it, am I right in remembering there was a bit where he was on horseback...? Incidentally, the cap you posted earlier where Mr M. is in focus and everything else is blurry quite neatly sums up my experience of watching this film - and a few of his other projects as well

Well, I would hope that this little-known album cover might clarify the lack of your delusionality Wow...I really was on the mark there I know Coincidentally, he's been doing solo shows here, BTW. Was initially delusional in pondering over Lil' Davey being shoehorned into that role for the sake of it, but now that I think about it srsly, I dunno... kitty

Now you come to mention it, am I right in remembering there was a bit where he was on horseback...? Like with S&S, the horseback caps with TOBG turned out all blurry. My screencapping function doesn't capture motion very well unfortunately LOL, I can ever-so-slightly relate to that viewpoint I've also observed in that pic how he seems to be spotlighted as well. Awwww...no, tis cool. I wasn't expecting you to get the musical reference (it was more a subtle nudge at Lilly), so props to you for making the effort to find out kitty

Incidentally, the cap you posted earlier where Mr M. is in focus and everything else is blurry quite neatly sums up my experience of watching this film - and a few of his other projects as well LOL!! Try all of them, and lo, you have my life...in the past ten months, anyway. [Was initially delusional in pondering over Lil' Davey being shoehorned into that role for the sake of it, but now that I think about it srsly, I dunno... Two words: Too. Old. Two more words: Too. Pretteh. So who's playing Neil in this little biopic, then? You know I'm gonna be even more opinionated (if that's indeed possible) about your choices there, hon! I'm guessing they would hafta troll deep and wide to find just the right old lesbian there.

He does – though that might be our squee-addled eyes deceiving us Makes me think of a scene in Love and Death on Long Island where John Hurt is in a cinema watching the credits roll, and as the name of the actor he has a crush on scrolls up the screen it glows with a kind of holy light That's a good film if you haven't seen it, btw. I'm not suggesting any of us on this forum will identify with the insane levels of obsession demonstrated by Mr Hurt's character (I think it's safe to say that if you ever find yourself inveigling your way into your crush's house and inhaling their bath towels then things have officially Gone Too Far ), but it's very good on the magic of cinema - even bad cinema - and the unexpected effects a sudden obsession can have on an otherwise sane person's life. John Hurt's performance is fantastic as well

He does – though that might be our squee-addled eyes deceiving us I think I might need to get a second, indpendent opinion on that one *Mental notes* I've heard of that film a fair while ago, but have always got a looooong back catalogue of stuff I want to watch but never get around to viewing I'll try to get to it, given it's based on your esteemed recommendation kitty

That's a good film if you haven't seen it, btw. I'm not suggesting any of us on this forum will identify with the insane levels of obsession demonstrated by Mr Hurt's character Yeah, if anyone does identify with that, I suggest this might not be the best forum for them. They might want to check out a little item known as, "professional help" instead. Nevertheless... ...it is sooo inappropriate that I burst out laughing when I read that sentence, and am still giggling as I type this. SO. VERY. WRONG!! I hope you'll forgive me when I say that if I'm going to watch a new-to-me John Hurt movie, The Commissioner is first in the queue there? No real reason, of course. *shifty eyes* Well I can't think of anyone...given he's your crush, why don't you come up with someone, hmmmm? Darlin', you're asking me to have some semblance of objectivity about someone I've had a crush on since I was 13 and for years regarded as the perfect man (though thankfully in my old age I've come to realise that such a critter does not exist, as well as the fact that perfection is highly overrated, in any case). Off the top of my head, Nigel Havers is too old, Jeremy Northam is too bland and/or handsome, ditto Philip Winchester (who's also too young and quasi-hunky). As noted to you previously, I refuse to settle for a pale approximation of the real thing, regardless of the category. (Alright, back in the mid-90's I used to think that the lead singer of Babasónicos looked like a grunge-ified Latino version of him, but I would like to state for the record that that was before I had LASIK surgery, dammit.) I think kitty may have posted some of these already, but heck, they're already uploaded to my Photobucket account, so I thought I'd go ahead and share. (Making a point through repetition, or merely lazy? You be the judge...) With regard to these next, I can't remember what the correct term is--chain of office?--so I'm gonna call it a necklace, and given the hip-hop-sized level of ornamentation there, it was difficult for me not to think, "MC Hottie in the hizzouse!" (Didn't toggle with the blue levels whatsoever there, btw--nope, that's all him, baby.)
