As mentioned in the 'pictures' thread, I just watched The Other Boleyn Girl the other night, and it made me realise that although I've read innumerable biographies of Anne Boleyn, for some reason I always want her story to turn out differently somehow. Can't say I ever paid much attention to the Duke of Norfolk before, though...whereas this time, I rather wished the whole movie had been about him, actually.

Hehehe! Rather like David as Colonel Brandon in Sense and Sensibility. I really couldn't have cared less about the daughters by about half way through, i just wanted to see David on horseback again!! ;D

My poor battered psyche is still trying to recover from the riding, the sword-fighting, the falconing...ack, it's like he hit the Byronic-hero home run there! *stops to apologise for egregious American sports reference* Perhaps you also might appreciate the following photo, which a friend decided it would be funny to post at the utterly-unrelated forum I admin, and which caused me to tell her afterwards to never, EVER hit me with such items first-thing in the morning again, otherwise I will hunt her down and Harm Her: Don't mind me, though...I'll just be over here, quietly drowning in a puddle of unmitigated drooling and fangirly squee...

He looks GORGEOUS there! He looks older than his years, but that's not neccessarily a bad point from where i'm coming from ;D

*THUD* He looks GORGEOUS there! He looks older than his years, but that's not neccessarily a bad point from where i'm coming from Why do I somehow suspect someone might have a little bit of an 'older man' fixation, hmmm? I've always preferred younger men, no doubt to my own rampant immaturity, so the fact that Mr. Morrissey is in fact older than me merely indicates one more way in which he is a delightful aberration. And you're quite welcome, Lucinda--I'm sure I can find more, but until I am able to stop averting my eyes from some of the pictures herein, I'm afraid that image search will have to be tabled for the time being.
