Okay, this is a bit of a lengthy read, but it's utterly fascinating, so I thought I'd pass it along. I especially liked the insights into Mr. Morrissey's creative process as both actor and director, and the part re: John Simm almost made me shoot water out of my nose from laughing. (I think it's actually a six-year age difference there, but it's okay, honey--you just sit there and look purty, and someone else can worry about the math.)

Loved this Q&A! Am always keen on finding out about how the magic happens, so to speak. From this and other interviews I've read it really sounds like he puts a heap of work and research into his roles..even the smaller ones, bless. Will happily raise hand to apply for a research assistant's role if and when it comes up (hello State of Play ) The Simm quote was LOLable (erroneous maths included). IMO it still doesn't beat his backfired 'joke' re why his part in Girl With a Pearl Earring being got cut out. That was ROFL-worthy ;D kitty
