www.guardian.co.uk/theobserver/2004/apr/11/features.review17I'm still not sure what the phrase, "outhouse build" is exactly supposed to connote, but it amused me nonetheless...and perhaps predictably, Mr. Morrissey's !HoYay!-esque take on The Deal was also giggle-inducing, as was this: "But it's a particular mainstay of British drama that the central characters are always going through some sort of traumatic experience or crisis, so that's perfect for me." The glorious plethora of ways in which this statement could be interpreted is pretty damn entertaining all by itself.

ROFLMAO...Built like a backyard dunny (toilet)! While I've had one of my most favourite footy players ever described as being built like a 'cement truck', I can't help but think in this instance: ' What in the deuce?!' I'm guessing he'll take up a role at some point in his career where he's a self-flagellating monk...just hanging out for that In all honesty I'm actually inclined to give him a good ol' slap in the back of the head and say 'Oi! Stop fricken niche-ing yourself already!' It's funny, I think he says something in there bout admiring actors who aren't afraid of moving out of their comfort zone. That comment kinda says something bout where he sits with regards to that...though the interview was bout 5 years ago. Dunno if anything's changed since then *shrugs* kitty

ROFLMAO...Built like a backyard dunny (toilet)! Yeah, my first thought there was, "Ya mean, like a brick s**thouse?" Definitely works for Mr. Morrissey's more musclebound persona in recent years, though as previously noted, I'm pretty darn fond of the slightly more chunky-monkey version that preceded it. Who am I kidding, though? IT'S SOOO ALL GOOD, MON! *wipes away unbecoming drool yet again* Or hey, if someone else does the flagellating, that'd be a bit of all right too...just so long as we get to watch. Agreed. As we previously discussed, he does seem to get cast as a sort of 'tormented Everyman' an awful lot, doesn't he? And presumably this might have something to do with the roles he chooses to accept. Hmmm...yeah, that whole 'comfort zone' thing does tend arise its naughty little head about now. Me being me, I'd of course love to see him play a big ole flaming queen--well, it's not like he could convincingly portray an itty-bitty one, now could he? (Nonetheless, I need to assert here that Mr. Morrissey is more than welcome to criticise MY career choices, incidentally.)
