I recently referred a friend to a thread herein and she said she got a message about spyware being connected to this site; while I'm pretty sure this was just her firewall being buggy and/or overprotective, I did wonder if anyone else has gotten any similar alerts.
Once again, this only validates my own pro-Apple stance, since hackers rarely write viruses or spyware for Macs cos not enough people use 'em. (Blame Stephen Fry for substantiating my Apple-centric bias even further, though; when my friend in Cambridge recently slagged off us dwellers in Mac-Land, I could only note that she must be right on the money, since Douglas Adams and Stephen Fry were the first two owners of Macs in the U.K. and obviously they had no capacity for rational judgment whatsoever.)
All told, I'm reasonably sure that Pro Boards wouldn't exist as a successful entity if there were any major spyware issues; still, have any of you PC-heads experienced any problems with this?
