Here's the link. My Highlights: "I've got a quiff and a pencil moustache"Heh, I'm just totally hanging out for the pics there ;D I was also very fond of how he described his soul, nicely done Major LOL at his comment re being apparently snooze-worthy in his conversational style. I'd have thought that as long as he's not snooze-worthy in *ahem* other areas (which will hopefully not require much speech), then am pretty happy to wear that kitty

Tankoo sooo much for the linky goodness, hon! *clappity clappity* Agreed. For some reason that seems to dovetail perfectly with the impression I've gotten of how he views himself too. And for the record, my house is in fact about fifty miles east of San Jose, so if he needs to stop and use the bathroom on said proposed jaunt of the U.S., I suppose that would be all right.

I was also very fond of how he described his soul, nicely done Since kitty and I have already been discussing this topic, I thought I'd open it up to a wider audience...so how would any of you describe what your soul looks like? I think mine looks like the darkest midnight blue sky punctuated by frequent shooting stars.

Hmm how would I describe my soul, probably a pale pink with swirls of greens and blues every now and again and maybe a few stars lol

Though it's not something I normally would ever eat, for some reason I'm suddenly hungry for a yogurt parfait with sprinkles about now.

ooh thanks for that Kitty! No probs For the time being (until I can think of something better), I'd probably describe my soul as taking the form of a "Kinder Surprise"...plain chocolate shell with something entirely unexpected inside ;D I think I might go for another one of those strawberry yoghurt ice creams at the cinemas later this arvo kitty

I like that description of your soul, Kitty. And I'm free to play more now. Finals are over and I have the whole summer to do whatever I please.

I like that description of your soul, Kitty. Thanks ;D though I'm sure I could do a lot better than likening myself to a chocolate egg! Hey, feel free to have a play in the sandpit...come one, come all kitty

I'm sure I could do a lot better than likening myself to a chocolate egg! Whereas I merely adore the fact that your rampantly Carlisle-esque oral fixation even extends to the description of your soul. Though while I'm blanking on the specifics at the moment, I'm inclined to see your soul along similar lines, except for it being more akin to some sort of foodstuffs that looks tame and vanilla on the outside, but turns out to be mouth-scorchingly hot and spicy once you bite into it. (Thoughts of Taco Bell's Volcano Double Beef Burrito spring to mind, except for the fact that I definitely can't see your soul as being any sort of cheap-arse junk food, all attendant 'n entrancingly phallic imagery notwithstanding.) Or to cite Erica Jong, "Or at least go." ;D

Whereas I merely adore the fact that your rampantly Carlisle-esque oral fixation even extends to the description of your soul. Gawd, I didn't even think of it in that way, such is the extent of said fixation *face palm* ROFL...hence why when men bite into it their heads explode, I suppose LOL, you've got to show me a pic of that! Am wondering who is Erica Jong exactly, as you seem to be quoting from her a lot? kitty

ROFL...hence why when men bite into it their heads explode, I suppose Why am I suddenly reminded of the end of The Reaping about now? 'Nuff said, live to serve...sometimes I forget how culturally-deprived y'all are without Mexican food in the rest of the world--though Taco Bell is an admittedly homogenised, piss-poor imitation of it--and while I was oddly unable to find a specific photo of the Volcano Double Beef Burrito (lots of the tacos, for some reason, though of course that brings quite a different sort of imagery to mind), for the record, it goes summat like dis: Though genuine, good Mexican burritos look a bit more like this: And because this made me laugh cos of being entitled, "Kitty Burrito," I am now compelled to cite it here: Well, since we've finished with Pauline Réage (btw, my niece the jewelry-maker has been reading Story of O and has assured me that the ornaments it has inspired her to create are significantly prettier and somewhat less invasive than those in the book), maybe we should move on to Ms. Jong's literary canon next? She was a considerable influence on my writing when I was younger, but it's been absolute ages since I read any of her stuph. Though here's the Wikipedian 411, for starters.

Why am I suddenly reminded of the end of The Reaping about now? Ah, my wacky unconscious at work...yet again Not necessarily, there are Mexican restaurants around here that aren't Taco Bells. Melbourne's an interesting little cultural melting pot that way LOL, that doesn't look very real...like them dressed-up display Maccas burgers Hey, I had one like that at a Mexican restaurant in Richmond bout a year ago...cept it was 'blue' YUMMY! LMAO, I see the likeness ;D I might need some time to clear my backlog of your reccommended reading and my work-related reading first, but yeah, I'd like to do that at some point. And ta very much for the link kitty

Ah, my wacky unconscious at work...yet again Hee! BTW, it also occurred to me that you could think of it this way--at least you ensnare enough comers (or goers) into your pretty web to make their brains explode in the first place. It could be worse, after all. You could get labeled, "intimidating" with such alarming frequency that it seems your only option for getting anyone to nosh on your brains would be solely limited to those of a zombieriffic nature. Damn, where the heck were those places when I was in Melbourne?! I totally woulda killed for some good Messican food then! (Much like what I told you about alla us Yanks shrieking with spastic glee upon espying that Taco Bell in Piccadilly Circus.) Blue corn is definitely more of a Southwestern thing, though I can't say I've ever noticed an appreciable difference in the taste between yellow, white or blue corn tortillas. In keeping with my total white-bread upbringing, I slightly prefer the flour kind anyhoo. *rolls eyes at own tendency toward inveterate carbo-loading* And you know, after I read that Wikipedia entry it reminded me of how autobiographical her work is--making me feel a little better about how often my posts here and elsewhere invariably deteriorate into a sort of Jungian analysis of my own psyche--and I know it'll be an absolute hoot to reread my copy of Fear Of Flying to see exactly what I underlined and commented on at the age of eighteen as opposed to now. But yeah, what you need to read for work should definitely claim precedence, especially given how I've already been haranguing you about reading Russell Brand's book, and Allen Gurganus, and...iz cool, bb.
