Okay, I finally took a look at ye olde Wikipedia entry today and am compelled to comment on something therein: namely, the critical reaction to Basic Instinct 2.

While I can sort of see where the, "sad sack" comment came from, the part about Mr. Morrissey being "a charisma-challenged non-entity" seriously made me go, WTF? Were we watching the same movie?!

Yes, that film has many problems, but I think nary a one of them has to do with any lack of charisma with regard to the male lead. If I had a subscription to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer (truth in advertising? Methinks not!), I would SO be cancelling it about now. Grrrr.
