I haven't seen this movie yet, but the presence on YouTube of a short clip allows me to post a couple of caps (rather small I'm afraid), the first in an occasional series on the theme of Mr Morrissey damp.

Absolutely adorable...as per usual

I wouldn't quite call the theme of "Morrissey Damp" an 'occasional' series. Off the top of my head there's OMF, Blackpool, BI2, The Reaping, Drowning By Numbers, etc., which all feature DM wet or damp in some capacity, so there's a lot more to come yet

But I must say that The Reaping gets bonus points for having him dripping wet with blood

Speaking of 'themes', other DM commonalities include 'squinchy-facing', 'phone porn' and, erm, 'attacking from behind' *smirks*

I loved DM in this. Another typically subtle, nuanced performance - I liked the note of ambiguity he brought to the triangle with Hilary and Jackie, and his boyish exuberance was just adorable. And I have to say, if anyone can make wellies and chunky jumpers alluring, Mr Morrissey is that man. The inside of a Morris Minor has never looked so appealing

As I noted in another thread a million years ago, I think that's the first thing I ever saw him in, and the residual sentiment that remained over the ensuing years was, "That Kiffer sure was a nice bit o' sumpin-sumpin."

I still stand by that assertion today.

Could be - though the funny thing is, I have several pics from that shoot and this is actually the one in which he looks least cheesed off. Maybe it's more a case of 'Enough with the novelty photoshoots already. I'm a serious actor, dammit.'

Re the funny expressions, the last pic has so far succeeded in making me laugh every single time. That's the 'We're going to see Jules et Jim' moment, isn't it? (not that I've been obsessively rewatching his scenes or anything ). Apart from being adorable, Kiffer gets bonus points for his excellent taste in dates. A man who suggests French cinema followed by pastries is my kinda guy
