GIRLS!! You do look after me so. He's gorgeous isn't he. Rather reminds me of DM actually. A strange comparison you might wager but in my tiny mind i have drawn a number of comparisons. Like how good they both look topless

;D ooh, reminds you of DM eh...? Well yes, the "topless" thing is a given, really I think he looks like an older Daniel Radcliffe myself... And he kinda looks a lot like Alastair Mackenzie, who played Archie in 'Monarch of the Glen'. DR AM But since this is a thread for RA... ;D

The resemblance to Daniel Radcliffe in that picture is uncanny! Can't say i'd ever noticed it before but yeah, i'm totally buying it! As for those other piccys Coincidentally, my 3 favourite RA roles - Guy of Gisbourne, John Thornton and Harry!

Dan looks more like RA as he gets older - I don't know if you're much of a Harry Potter fan, but the end of the last HP movie... JT and Harry are my favourite characters of his as well ;D I still need to watch Robin Hood though, how slack am I? >_>

I am indeed a Harry Potter fan ;D Or as i prefer to call myself - a Severus Snape fan Must admit though, i didn't spend too much time paying attention to DR during the film - i was far too preoccupied with a) Rupert Grint (when did he get sexy?!) and b) trying to stop myself crying after the demise of a certain ex-Potions master *sniffs* Hun, don't watch Robin Hood until you've got at least 2 weeks free for it to consume your life. I recently had a rewatch (and a first watch of series 3, which i never watched when it aired) and what with the episodes and the screencaps of RA in head-to-toe leather and the Guy/Robin fanfiction it did completely subsume my life for a wee while. Not that anyone heard me complaining

LOL hey, at least it worked *high fives RMR* I too am a Severus Snape fan He's without a doubt my favourite character of the entire series, although I do have a soft spot for Harry as well... probably because I like Dan, haha But yes... Ron (and Neville!) have certainly grown up a bit I find the twins quite easy on the eyes these days as well >_> Anyways - Dan, when he's made up to look older in the epilogue... I just couldn't help thinking "Damn, he looks so much like RA!" They need to be in something together... as brothers or something, haha And I'll take that into account re: Robin Hood I'm sure I'll get around to it eventually... just like I'll get around to watching State Of Play... >_> ;D

Allow me to jump into the Richard Armitage drool pool! All this talk of Richard Armitage plus some stuff I'd read on the net about North and South prompted me to borrow the DVD from my local library. I enjoyed it. I can see his appeal for so many people. Those sexy looks he was giving the heroine made me feel quite warm..ahem. I think the deepest and most tender and passionate relationship in North and South was between Thornton and his mother. I loved watching their scenes, especially when she was comforthing him! I checked out some clips of RA on youtube. He was lovely as Harry in The Vicar of Dibley! I'm borrowing the North and South book and Robin Hood from the library, and I've got a reservation on Spooks. Can't say whether this will become a full blown obssession, but it's a nice way to pass time! ;D

Mine became a full blown obsession VERY quickly, lol! ;D
There's just something about Richard that is impossible to resist. And i totally get why a David Morrissey fan would be attracted to Richard - they are similar is so very many respects.
Vicar Of Dibley is definitely one to watch if you can - Harry is simply divine! And, but of course, Robin Hood. My other favourite RA character (aside from Thornton, naturally) is his role as John in Sparkhouse. It's a modern retelling of Wuthering Heights and well worth a watch if you can track it down!

I am a massive Richard Armitage fan for a while now. It got heated up again last weekend. I've met with a lot of friends of his German fan forum and drooling for a whole weekend about the man. We have been watching a lot of music videos, Guy scenes of Robin Hood season 3, Vicar of Dibley, 1st episode of Spooks 7, The Impressionists, complete North And South, his Scenes from Between The Sheets and his Scenes from Sparkhouse. And all on a massive Plasma Screen with a group of nice crazy girls - fantastic! And lots of food and some nice drinks.

Aww wow, that sounds amazing! I became a fan of Richard when i first saw him in Robin Hood but i think he was a bit of an unknown at that point. I've been so glad to see his star rise and rise over the past few years - especially with Spooks and, of course, Captain America. A whole weekend with Richard

Aah, more members of the RA fandom ;D I feel like a bad fan though because I haven't actually sat down to watch a lot of his work >_> I sort of think about doing it and then get distracted by other stuff and, well, yeah... I could say the same for a lot of other shows I've been meaning to check out as well (including a lot of DM's stuff ) But there is certainly something about him I first noticed him in 'Ordeal By Innocence' (Miss Marple TV series - even though the novel version is completely different ), and it sort of went on from there... especially after I watched N&S ^_^ ;D

I love that particular episode of Marple 'cos you get the best of so many worlds - RA, Burn Gorman, Reece Shearsmith and Bryan Dick!
It's like fangirl heaven!! ;D
