And along with the admittedly-belated holiday greetings, can I also note that the DMF2 is now officially a year old? Though Romana and Ravish Me Ripley are no longer around, I feel immensely beholden to them for having gotten this place started, particularly since it has already blessed me with two wonderful friends-for-life.
This just goes to show what I've said before about how if fandom has taught me nothing else, it's the fact that ultimately it has relatively little to do with the famoso, film, show or character involved, and far more to do with the people you meet as a result of this common affinity. {{group hug time}}
Though I spose a little credit should perhaps be given as well to a certain fella who inspired all of this obsessive hormonal uproar in the first place...ya think?
(Now, if someone could just have a quiet word with him about being waaay too damn polite and accommodating to obnoxious dinks at Twitter...)
