Yes, but you are already so cute that your coolness quotient is sufficiently stratospheric enough to require no stripey scarves whatsoever. Aw, thanks Not sure I'd look so cool if I was freezing my butt off though--I positively can't live without a scarf during winter! Given I'm an account holder with a photo site or two myself, it'd be a major case of 'pot calling the kettle black' if I was ever to do so...which I wouldn't anyway LMHO! Of course that assertion would completely fall apart upon hearing the man speak, being all thoughtful, polite and articulate-like in his manner. But yeah, I could think of worse things than that... Now this article is making me wonder whether my own label, 'old-skool handsome' is, in fact a euphemism for 'thuggish, über-masculine' type. Great kitty

Now this article is making me wonder whether my own label, 'old-skool handsome' is, in fact a euphemism for 'thuggish, über-masculine' type. Great Given the quantity of photos celia alerted me to this afternoon, I soon can definitely supply yet further (albeit needless) evidence to substantiate the, "oldskool handsome" bit. As just one example... Uhm, yeah, if that ain't oldskool handsome, I dunno what is. And as yet another general media heads-up, Mr. Morrissey will be on Simon Mayo's show tomorrow, (though I realise it's already today for those of you who are not on PST like myself). As soon as I can snag a link via iPlayer, it will be posted here. Finally--and also thanks to Her Utmost Fabness celia--BAFTA arrivals from tonight here and here. Once again, one can only applaud Ms. Freud's taste in accessories, particularly with regard to her exceptional choice of arm candy.

Uhm, yeah, if that ain't oldskool handsome, I dunno what is. Once I tore myself away from the sheer starkness of her lipstick, I did get to wondering what he'd look like in classical monochrome, yeah, looking very much like so (while the emoticon here is similar, I wanted to convey the anime wide-eyeness for emphasis): Ta for that heads up. Shame it's on here at around 4-5am if I wanted to hear it live Thanks to yourself and celia for the pics The same aforementioned Sailor Moon icon could describe my reaction to this other Evening Standard shot, which was up on the site too, in case no-one else caught it. Can't quite understand why, but I like the fact he's not really focused on the camera there. LOL, I thought she was merely making up for her...erm...purse. And she does kitty

Once I tore myself away from the sheer starkness of her lipstick You know, I actually futzed with the colour levels there so it wouldn't look quite so pronounced, but if naught else, this was a reminder to myself that we pale-skinned blondes don't always look our best with mega-red lipstick (though of course Ms. Stone carries off the look only about a million times better than I ever could). Speaking of, I recently saw her being interviewed about something and felt a flash of annoyance which if put into words would have went thusly: "Dammit, woman, you're older than I am, and you got to have a nekkid David Morrissey on top of you. Is it too much to ask that you stop being so friggin' gorgeous?!" And then of course I immediately remembered that she will be held to that impossible standard for the rest of her life, and will be permitted only the vaguest semblance of any personal life or privacy into the bargain...after which, I felt really bad for even having had the thought in the first place. Hee--I do love the fact that you use anime as a reference point so often, given that your actual appearance is so verifiably and adorably cartoonylicious in and of itself. I didn't listen to it live either, but for the record, that previously-cited link still works (for the next seven days, anyway) and as I know the accompanying photo won't be up forever, I snagged it accordingly--yet another in the continuing series of, "How-can-you-NOT-love-this-guy?" shots: I won't comment on the content of the interview until you guys actually listen for yourselves, apart from saying that I thought Mr. Morrissey's analysis of yesterday's Liverpool/Man City game was spot-on; having watched it myself, I actually had thought something similar, though the wildly uneven officiating certainly didn't help none either--definitely not the triumphant return for Torres one would have hoped for, by any means. (Please ignore what I've just written there, as yes, I have quite mortifyingly become interested in football in spite of myself. Move along folks, nothing to see here!) And yet further evidence of how all the cool kids wear stripey scarves, too! (I just found mine in storage and have been waiting to feel cool while wearing it, though I'm afraid that I've been waiting to feel cool since age thirteen or so. Hope springs eternal.)

Hee--I do love the fact that you use anime as a reference point so often, given that your actual appearance is so verifiably and adorably cartoonylicious in and of itself. Shhhhh. That's meant to be a secret Awwww. Is it harsh of me to have thought, "Mad professors" when I saw that shot? I won't say much except that the main notable I took from the interview involved the words trunks, swimming pool and "Five Days" in a sentence. But that's just me I went to see one of my clients this afternoon, and funnily enough, that game was on TV. I asked her if she was a Liverpool fan. She said she was It's great to know how fandom invariably creeps its way into work when you don't necessarily want it to Lamentingly, I'm now reminded of having a purple, burgundy and pink stripey scarf stashed somewhere in my wardrobe, but it's fluffy and makes my neck itch. It also makes me look like Wally/Waldo. Damn kitty

Wow, I knew I'd been a bit lax in checking in here recently but didn't realise just how much till I saw how much has been going on in this thread in the meantime - and how many nuggets of photographic goodness have been posted Thanks both! Especially loving the shot with Simon Mayo: Costner JFK specs (and unruly hair) FTW A couple more links from last weekend's BAFTA film awards: Mr M signing autographs and giving a red carpet interview to Edith Bowman. Finally, props to Lilly for finding two fantabulous pictures from the 2004 BAFTAs: this one and (especially) this one. And while we're at it, let's complete the set. Aah, those Ripley sideburns! Be still my beating heart (As an aside, I'm amused that a search on Getty also brings up this gent, David Morrissey, stud groom. )

Thanks guys for the BAFTA links, both past and present ;D I just couldn't help but LMAO at the following: - His hair in those 2004 BAFTA shots. It suits his character...just not him IRL, IMO - The fact that he refers to Kristen Scott Thomas and Anne-Marie Duff as 'girls' in the current BAFTAs red-carpet interview ;D Got this link via the Brit Actors comm on LiveJournal. According to the Liverpool Echo, Mr. M. might be putting in another appearance at a local arts/culture/film Q&A thingy. Personally, I just keep hoping he'll still be going around when I get to the UK later this year *crosses fingers* kitty

Shhhhh. That's meant to be a secret Between whom, exactly? You, me, and everyone at Twitpic? It's certainly kinder than Deb's reaction; I was trying to help her through a bout of insomnia by discussing ephemeral squee-making items, and when I threw the link into the IM, she responded, "It's the middle of the night--why are you forcing me to look at middle-aged British men in glasses?" (Luckily she then said she appreciated it on a sheer non sequitur level--yep, that's why she's my girl.) Finally, props to Lilly for finding two fantabulous pictures from the 2004 BAFTAs: this one and (especially) this one. I believe that second one was what made me think, "Oh, you great big adorable goombah, I must once again implore you to kindly cease and desist with the pernicious, intractable grip on my heart and nads... kthxbai."The fact that he refers to Kristen Scott Thomas and Anne-Marie Duff as 'girls' in the current BAFTAs red-carpet interview I think I've mentioned before--though possibly not here--that one of the many things I love about British men is the fact that in a lot of ways, they're a helluva lot more progressive than American guys, but in some other ways they're charmingly old-fashioned. I think that point has just been underscored nicely. Two more article links, though the first one has already been listed at Mr. Morrisey's official site (which y'all should really be going to too, if not instead of this place--let's talk basic legitimacy, shall we?)-- last week's Guardian article, which I loved for any number of items, his evident closeness with his son among them, though I also appreciated the oblique reminder to maintain some perspective about football, since all the "fat Spanish waiter" stuph about Rafa didn't half piss me off (forgive me, I am new at this...though I know objectivity will come in time, I presently am still too busy wincing in pain at the Wigan game). Ahem, back to the actin'...there's also yesterday's Daily Mail article, which initially made me go, "Dude, why not just draw a road map directly to your house for all the stalkers?!" but also made me chock fulla awww at the fact that my favourite Doctor Who lives in Hampstead too (or at least he used to). Hmmm, I guess that's where all the pretentious actor-y types tend to congregate...

From February, and the Industry Insights panel in Belfast--rather than contravene my own dictates about not posting pictures wider than 700 pixels, I'll simply link you to the nicely ginormous originals here, here and here. Now trying--and spectacularly failing--to come up with an even vaguely cogent remark regarding the second photo in particular.

Now trying--and spectacularly failing--to come up with an even vaguely cogent remark regarding the second photo in particular. Thanks a lot for those pic links Lilly! My reaction is best encapsulated with the following random emoticons: Loving the blue baseball style jacket especially...very nice! Sporty casual never looked so classy kitty

Oh, FFS--I trust you were able to do so at home? (I'm not going to harass you about checking this place at work, since if I were gainfully employed myself, I'd most likely do the exact same thing.) Now that my organisation's on Facebook, I'm limited for online options to check out in secret through private browsing Oops, forgot to check the link at home till now, but still had the same problem with the link's security certificate, which I had to override (it's to do with it being a https link, I think). Suit's just perfetto, but had to LOL at the hair Aside from heartily agreeing, my first two thoughts upon viewing the link: 1. Right Said Fred's 'I'm Too Sexy' started playing in my head For those uninitiated with this song, here's a Youtube link: 2. Comparing DT... to this guy ;D As for Mr. M, in contrast, he looks the laconic model type without really trying. Props for that kitty

You'd think I would know by now not to take a sip of water when I'm reading one of your posts, right? I've heard that there's supposedly a sequel to Zoolander in the works--you've pretty much nailed the dream casting there, I think.
